Raw materials

Ingredients
Method
Blanch the peppers briefly if you like them very soft.
- 01Get set
Take the chicken out of the fridge 15 minutes before cooking. Pat it dry with paper towels. Wash your hands, board and knife after handling raw chicken. Heat the oven to 190 °C.
- 02Cook the filling
Heat the oil in a pan. Cook the onion for 5 minutes, add the garlic and mince and cook for 8 minutes until no pink remains. Cook until no pink remains and the juices run clear, or 74 °C at the thickest part if you use a thermometer.
- 03Mix
Stir in the rice, oregano, parmesan, salt and pepper. Cool for 5 minutes.
- 04Make the sauce
Stir the passata, garlic, sugar and salt together. Spread half in a baking dish.
- 05Fill
Stand the pepper halves in the dish and pack with the filling.
- 06Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, add the mozzarella and bake for 15 minutes more until bubbling.
- 07Serve
Scatter basil and serve with the sauce spooned over.
