From our humble beginnings to becoming India’s top choice for top-quality Gourmet Meat, Snacks, Cheese and Marinades, it’s been an incredible ride. One driven by passion, innovation, and a deep love for great food.


The Birth of Meatigo by Prasuma

Meatigo by Prasuma was born from a simple yet profound realisation by our founder, Siddhant Wangdi. Back in 2017, Siddhant noticed a significant gap in the Indian market for trustworthy Meat products. Quality meats were hard to come by, and consumers often had to compromise on freshness, taste, or even safety. For someone who had travelled extensively and experienced the rich, diverse meat offerings globally, this was a stark contrast. With a vision to fill this gap, Siddhant embarked on a mission to provide only the best Gourmet Meats, Cheese & more, akin to what one might find in the Gourmet markets of Europe or North America.


The Early Days

The initial days were filled with challenges, from sourcing the right suppliers to ensuring the quality of the products. But with a clear vision and a dedicated team, Meatigo by Prasuma began to carve out its niche in the Indian Meat market.

The focus was on offering an unparalleled selection of Meat- Pork, Chicken, Seafood, and even exotic options—all sourced from trusted suppliers. Quality control was stringent; each product was meticulously checked to ensure it met Meatigo by Prasuma’s high standards. This attention to detail quickly set Meatigo by Prasuma apart from the competition.


From 20 to 150+ Gourmet Treats

Fast forward to 2024, and Meatigo by Prasuma now boasts a catalogue of over 150+ Gourmet products. This remarkable growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team. From a small startup, Meatigo by Prasuma has transformed into a household name, synonymous with quality and variety.

Growth & Expansion

One of the significant milestones in Meatigo by Prasuma’s journey was the Pan-India expansion in 2023. This move was driven by the increasing demand from customers across the country. Expanding beyond the initial markets posed several logistical challenges, from setting up supply chains in new regions to ensuring consistent quality across all locations. But with a clear strategy and unwavering commitment, the team successfully navigated these challenges. From delivering to 8 metro cities to delivering Pan India in just 6 months!


Overcoming Challenges

The journey to becoming a nationwide brand wasn’t without its hurdles. One of the primary challenges was maintaining the quality and freshness of products during transportation. Meat is a perishable commodity, and ensuring it reaches customers in pristine condition requires innovative solutions. Meatigo by Prasuma invested heavily in temperature-controlled delivery systems. This investment paid off, as customers across India began receiving their orders fresh and on time.

Another challenge was the diverse palate of Indian consumers. Different regions have different preferences, and catering to this variety requires a deep understanding of local tastes and culinary traditions. Meatigo tackled this by diversifying its product range to include region-specific specialities like Amritsari Fish, Naga Chilli Pork Belly Cubes to International flavours like our Deli Meats range, Imported Meats and Marinades like Thai Lemon Fish, Fish In Lemon Beurre Blanc and more. This customisation helped Meatigo by Prasuma win the hearts of customers nationwide.
